Dior's Top B*tch designer John Galliano says unapologetically. "Of course I’m sensitive to the economy. Of course I’m aware of it. I read the newspapers; I watch TV," he said Sunday. "But [dealing with it] is not my job. My job is to do the best I can to show the possibilities of Dior. When you’re standing in a hurricane, you have to keep your feet firmly on the ground. I'm sure you can make everyday people dream of wearing the label but when did the label start wearing them? Just so you know Galliano is known for his overly flamboyant designs. Dior has always been a classy fashion house like Chanel but just like celebrities wanting scandal, so it seems fashion houses do to.
